Our Approach

We believe in minimal data collection. ishastays.watch is designed to be privacy-respecting by default.

What we collect

Basic search (no account needed)

• No personal information: Room availability search requires no login or personal details.
• No cookies for tracking: We only use essential cookies for theme preferences.

Watches feature (optional)

If you choose to set up a watch to get notified when rooms become available:

• Email address: Stored to send you availability notifications. Never shared with third parties.
• Watch preferences: Your selected dates, room types, and notification settings.
• Payment information: Processed securely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card details.

You can delete your watches and associated data at any time from the Watches page.

Anonymous analytics

We collect anonymous, aggregated usage data to understand how the tool is being used and to improve it. This includes:

• Search patterns (dates searched, not who searched)
• General device type (mobile/desktop)
• General geographic region

This data cannot be used to identify individual users.

Third-party services

• Cloudflare: Hosting and security. Their privacy policy applies to infrastructure-level data processing.
• Razorpay: Payment processing for watches. We never see your card details.
• Resend: Email delivery for watch notifications.

Data we don't have

We only check room availability - we don't handle Isha Yoga Center bookings. We never see or store:

• Your Isha Foundation account details
• Booking confirmations from cottage.isha.in
• Any data you submit to the official Isha booking system
